The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955
Hindu minority & guardianship Act, 1956
Hindu Adoptions & Maintenance Act, 1956
Hindu Succession Act, 1956
Above all are codified laws and Hindu joint Family is uncodified.
Under Muslim Law, it deals with :
Shariat(application) Act, 1937
Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act, 1939
Wakf Act, 1954 (as amended in 1995)
Muslim Women(protection of rights on divorce) Act, 1986
All these are codified laws except Shariat Law (Divine), this is uncodified law.
Under Christian Law , it deals with :
Christian Marraiage Act, 1872
Indian Divorce Act, 1869(as amended in 2002)
Indian Succession Act, 1925
which are codified.
Under Parsi Law, it deals with :
Parsi Marraige and Diveroce Act, 1936
India Succession Act, 1925
these are codified.
Jewish law is uncodified.
